Don’t Judge Me Mondays: White Russian

/ Uncategorized

I’ve really been on a coffee kick lately.  I don’t know if it’s for the caffeine, the taste, or that we get it free at work but it’s been one of my main beverages these days.  I realized I haven’t made many coffee cocktails, so I felt like it was time for another one!  As much as I like coffee, I’m not sure why I haven’t made a White Russian sooner.  The time has come!

Let’s get to it!

Fill your glass with ice.

Now pour in the Kahlua, or your favorite coffee liqueur, and vodka.

Do any of you have another coffee liqueur you really enjoy?  I just use Kahlua because it’s the main one I’ve heard one, but I’m curious what else is out there. Then pour the milk in.  I use whole milk rather than heavy cream. I still want some richness but heavy cream just feels like too much to me.  I like to look at the pretty swirl of milk and coffee colors before I stir it all together. 🙂

If you love coffee, this is the cocktail for you.  That coffee flavor really comes through in this sweet and creamy drink.

Enjoy!
