Flavor of the Month Summary: Pomegranate
Our latest Flavor of the Month has come to an end. It’s been a blast sharing some of my favorite pomegranate recipes with you!
Here’s the rundown:
Pomegranate Toast – Toast is topped with creamy peanut (or Nutella if you want to be decadent!) and pomegranate arils for a lovely snack that’s creamy, crunchy, and sweet!
Pomegranate Green Salad – I love a salad that’s full of interesting textures and flavors! Life’s too short for any old boring salad. This one uses sturdy greens like kale or arugula, has crunch from walnuts, saltiness from feta cheese, some sweetness for the pomegranate, and zestiness from a lovely vinaigrette.
Pomegranate-Glazed Gingerbread – You may be thinking we’re past gingerbread season, but I would argue you could eat this gingerbread any time of year! It has the added ingredient of pomegranate molasses which makes it less sweet.
Pomegranate & Goat Cheese Crostini – Crunchy crostini is topped with creamy goat cheese, sweet pomegranate arils, and tangy pomegranate molasses for an extraordinary appetizer.
Pomegranate Holiday – This cocktail combines pomegranate juice with sage and bourbon for something truly special.
Here a few other pomegranate recipes I’ve shared on the blog in the past:
