Don’t Judge Me Mondays: Apple of My Eye Patch
For awhile now, I’ve been thinking about making a cocktail involving rum and apple. Derek suggested adding this caramel liqueur to the mix and his instinct was right! Derek also gets the credit for the name. Rum and pirates go together like, well, rum and apples. 😉
Let’s get to it!
Start by filling your shaker halfway with ice.
Pour in the apple juice, spiced rum, and caramel liqueur. I used Kkada, which is a local caramel liqueur but use whatever you prefer.
Pop the top on the top and shake vigorously. Now strain into one large or two smaller martini glasses. Garnish with a small piece of apple.
This cocktail is boozy, sweet and full of apple flavor.

- 3 ounces apple juice
- 1 ounce caramel liqueur
- 1 ounce spiced rum
Instructions
