Don’t Judge Me Mondays: Amaretto Fizz
I have a few mini bottles of random spirits that I’ve purchased at different stores. When I’m looking for some cocktail inspiration, I take a look at what I have. Amaretto was one of the mini bottles I had and I thought it would be an interesting cold drink. If you’ve never had it, Amaretto is a sweet almond liqueur.
Let’s get to it!
Start by filling your glass with ice. Fill it halfway with lemon-lime soda.
Add the Amaretto and lemon juice. I know how well lemon and almond go together, so I thought it would be a nice touch here.
Top off with the rest of the lemon-lime soda and give it a stir.
Garnish with a lemon slice and enjoy!
This might be my new go-to summer cocktail! The Amaretto adds a surprising flavor and it’s super refreshing. Obviously, I need to use Amaretto more often! What’s your favorite cocktail that uses Amaretto?

- 8 ounces lemon-lime soda
- 2 ounces Amaretto
- juice of 1 lemon
- lemon slice for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice and halfway with lemon-lime soda.
- Add Amaretto and lemon juice.
- Top off with remaining lemon-lime soda and stir.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and enjoy!
