Papa’s Cream Soda
My husband, Derek, loves cream soda. I wanted to make a cocktail with it and since rum is his favorite spirit, it made sense to combine the two!
Let’s get to it!
Fill a pint glass with ice and pour your cream soda halfway up. I actually used diet cream soda (it’s hard to find so I ordered several different kinds online as a birthday gift for Derek), but use whatever brand you like.
Now pour in the rum and bitters. It may sound strange to add bitters to a drink like this, but it just helps round out the sweetness.
Now slowly pour in the remaining cream soda. Most cream sodas are pretty foamy, so give it a gently stir to combine everything and enjoy!
This cocktails is obviously easy to make, so it’s a great candidate for your next BBQ because people can mix their own!
